The Ongoing Maintenance Program

The Sea Ranch Chapel Foundation continues to fund significant renovations and improvements to the Chapel. The stained glass has been restored by Jeff Dalrymple of Antofte Studio, San Diego, CA. The work on the large stained-glass window was done in the local studio of stained glass artist, Star DeHaven. Some years later Jeff Dalrymple repaired the stained glass in the Chapel door that was broken in a burglary attempt. These renovations have all been made possible by gifts from the public and from honored board members.

Some of the current projects being funded by donations and implemented by volunteers include:

• The landscape plan: This fall work will proceed to replace the large Bishop pine and to renovate the shrubs and ground covers on the berm and surrounding the chapel that have deteriorated in the last thirty years.
• Fuels management to safeguard the Chapel in the event of a coastal fire was done by volunteers from the Sea Ranch Hot Shots and other volunteers
