Sacred Events

The Sea Ranch Chapel is an intimate, light infused setting for any number of sacred events. The primary use of the chapel is for individual and small group prayer or meditation of a non-sectarian nature.

With the proper permissions, the chapel can be reserved for private functions. In the past, it has been used for Weddings, Marriage Vow Renewals, Commitments, Anniversaries, Memorials, Baptisms, and Consecration of special events for small groups.

Reserving the Chapel

All reservations for the chapel must be made through The Sea Ranch Association Office. We recommend that you call first to see if your date is available. The Association Offices are open Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. Their telephone number is 707-785-2444, and their email address is info@tsra.org. Alternatively, you can mail your Request to the following address:

The Sea Ranch Association, Reservations
Post Office Box 16
The Sea Ranch, CA 95497

Requests for a reservation date are accepted on a tentative basis to prevent conflicts in facility use, and are confirmed upon receipt of a deposit, fees, signature of the Facility Use Agreement by the User and the Association Member/Sponsor, and after Community Manager approval.

It is recommended that you make your reservation as far in advance as possible, but it must be made a minimum of ten business days prior to your planned use of the chapel. Please also remember that the chapel is small.

Chapel Occupancy

The chapel is an intimate space. It will only hold a maximum of twenty people. In planning for your important event, be sure that the size of your group will fit comfortably into the chapel. It should be noted that there is only parking for thirteen vehicles and RVs are not allowed. Please also remember that there are no restroom facilities. The very best idea is to visit the chapel well before your event and to think through clearly how you would utilize the chapel’s facilities.
